CreateFor.me
Effective Date: March 13, 2026
Last Updated: March 13, 2026
Jurisdiction: European Union (GDPR) | California (CCPA) | Global
LEGAL NOTICE: This Privacy Policy constitutes a legally binding agreement between you (“User”) and CreateFor.me (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Company”). By accessing or using CreateFor.me, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms set forth herein. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue all use of our platform.
- Overview and Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how CreateFor.me collects, uses, stores, discloses, transfers, and protects personal information obtained through our website, tools, services, and any associated platforms (collectively, the “Service”). This Policy applies to all users of the Service, regardless of geographic location, subject to applicable local law.
CreateFor.me operates a suite of free, browser-based AI tools for audio and video editing. Our foundational design principle is privacy by default: we collect the minimum data necessary to deliver and improve our Service, and we do not build our business on selling user data.
OPERATOR’S RIGHTS: Nothing in this Privacy Policy shall be construed to limit the Company’s rights to collect, use, and process aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data for any lawful business purpose, including service improvement, analytics, product development, and commercial use, provided such data cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual. - Data Controller Information
For purposes of applicable data protection law, the data controller is:
CreateFor.me
Website: https://createfor.me
Contact: privacy@createfor.me
For GDPR inquiries, users within the European Economic Area may contact our Data Protection representative at the above address. We will respond to all verifiable requests within the timeframes required by applicable law. - Information We Collect
3.1 Information You Provide Directly
We may collect information you voluntarily provide, including but not limited to:
• Contact information (name, email address) if you register, subscribe to updates, or contact us
• Communications and correspondence you send to us via email or contact forms
• Feedback, survey responses, or other content you choose to submit
3.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you access or use the Service, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:
• IP address and approximate geolocation (country/region level only)
• Browser type, version, and operating system
• Device type and screen resolution
• Pages visited, features used, and time spent on the Service
• Referring URLs and exit pages
• Session identifiers and timestamps
• Performance and error logs
3.3 Media Files and User Content
Our AI tools process audio and video files you upload or record. We are committed to a browser-first, privacy-protective processing model: where technically feasible, media processing occurs locally in your browser using WebAssembly and client-side AI models, meaning your files are never transmitted to our servers.
Where server-side processing is necessary for specific features, uploaded files are:
• Processed transiently in isolated, encrypted compute environments
• Not stored beyond the duration of your active session, unless you explicitly save your work
• Not used to train our AI models or any third-party AI models without your explicit, separate opt-in consent
• Not shared with any third party for any purpose other than completing your requested processing
• Automatically purged from any temporary storage within 24 hours of session termination
COMPANY RIGHTS RE: UPLOADED CONTENT: You retain full ownership of all files you upload to CreateFor.me. By uploading files, you grant CreateFor.me a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license solely to process your files to provide the Service. This license terminates immediately upon deletion of your files or termination of your session. We do not claim any ownership rights in your content.
